Bereits am Bandfoto auf der Rückseite von „Right Time To Rock You“ sieht man was bei Nasty Bulletz auch musikalisch Programm ist: Hardrock und Hairmetal mit starkem 80er Einfluss.
Dabei orientiert sich das seit 2008 bestehende Quintett aus Landau in der Pfalz auf seinem Debutalbum weniger an der skandinavischen Sleazewelle, die den Markt in den letzten Jahren beherrscht, sondern eher an den Originalvorbildern amerikanischer Herkunft aus den 1980er Jahren. Harte, schnelle Rocker (Really Gonna Rock, Right Between The Eyes) wechseln sich ab mit Midtempo-Stampfern (Tonight Is The Night, First Strike) und Partysongs mit den obligatorischen Mitgröhlrefrains (Loaded Gun, Rock You, Got To Do It Tonight). Mit “Make Me Stay” ist zuguterletzt auch die obligatorische Ballade am Start, die einen eher unerwarteten Tiefgang beweist.

Auch die Produktion ist sehr klassisch gehalten mit den stark mehrstimmigen Chören und effektbeladenen Gitarrensounds, was den Songs allerdings sehr gut zu Gesicht steht. Fans von Dokken, Poison, Ratt oder Cinderella kommen mit dem Album von Nasty Bulletz definitv auf Ihre Kosten und sollten den perfekten Soundtrack für die kommende 80er Party mit „Right Time To Rock You“ gefunden haben.
