Mit dem Album „The Nemesis Construct“ sorgten die Jungs von Emergency Gate für Aufsehen in der Metalszene. Meleodic Death Metal gekreutzt mit Metalcore und einem Hauch von elektronischen Synthesizern - Die Band war einer der Vorreiter weltweit, noch bevor es zum Boom von Bands wie Amaranthe, Asking Alexandria oder Eskimo Callboy kam. Harte Riffs, gepaart mit eingängigen Melodien brachten die Musikwelt zum Aufhorchen. Man konnte sogar Thomas Englund von „Evergrey“ für das Duett „Dark Side of the Sun“ gewinnen.
