The first single from Virtual Perish's upcoming album "Infernal" is titled "Calypso Disease". An alternate title was going to be "Copium Doll" – this song is about a doll that distastes being played with while reveling in how much time its master is wasting focusing on it instead of anything else, cackling over the master's degradation. The doll shows signs of wear and decay with how much it is used, revealing its dark desire to hold your engagement with it as it endeavors to halt any attempt of you focusing on anything else.

While there are influences from yesteryear's nu metal bands in this song, it intentionally avoids that style, opting instead to break into a more modern metal style, serving as a continuation into an entirely new sound.
